    The Rolls-Royce

Posted by David from Nevada on 1st Jun 2022

The Rolls-Royce of harmoniums? Seems to be, based on my 40 years of harmonium experience. Awesome sound, nice sustain, great looking, and wonderful key action. Seems to be a superior build with thicker than usual wood. I'm happy that after so many years I finally "bit the bullet" and purchased THE Harmonium. I hope it holds up in the very dry Desert Southwest of the U.S. Only time will tell. So far, so good. Mickey is great and will answer all your questions honestly and knowledgeably!! (The harmonium is certainly pricey, I'll have to say -- wish I had purchased it pre-COVID!)

    Still the best harmonium maker!

Posted by Vikash from Mississauga. on 22nd Oct 2017

I've owned a few shift-key harmoniums in the past few years, nothing ever lasted more than a few years. Playing a Paul & Co is truly worth saving for; you can feel the build quality and depth in the tone. 5 starts all around.

    13-4 Paul and Co

Posted by Vishal on 17th Apr 2014

Before I went to the store I knew I wanted a 13-4. However, once I got there Micky began showing me the various versions of the 3 reed Paul and Co's. I must say I was very impressed with the 13-3. But then came the 13-4 and the biggest difference is: with a three reed you hear a crisp sound but, with a four reed you not only hear but feel the sound. I played it in mandir several times and its so powerful I barely need a mic. At home I have to barely pump it in order to hear myself...Its absolutely amazing. The sound is un-measurable, it is so clear, and the keys are very responsive. If the price is to high get the 13-3 you won't lose much.....Micky was great he knows his stuff, I was there for over an hour on a busy Sunday evening and he was very accommodating.

    Great product

Posted by Revathi on 7th Dec 2013

Excellent harmonium. Sounds absolutely divine. It is very heavy to carry. Mickey was an excellent guide in the showroom. I am not sure I would have gotten such a good harmonium even if I had gone to India - you have to really know where to go. All their harmoniums are good, and Mickey will walk you through which would best fit your needs. If this store is within reasonable driving distance, I would recommend actually making an appointment with Mickey to discuss the instruments you are interested in. It is also so much better to actually hear the harmonium before you buy it. Overall, excellent purchase that my entire family enjoys.

    Avoid going into their showroom!

Posted by Ken on 8th Sep 2013

I went into the shop with the intention of purchasing a good quality paul scale-changer, as instructed by my guru ji. Mickey showed me 6 different versions of the instrument, I started from the simple 9 scale and somehow couldn't walk away from the Royals Royce of harmoniums!!! The keys were butter soft and responsive to the touch, the sound is so well balanced firing on all 4 reeds at once, (no lazy reeds or squeaks). Mickey is the man, this guy knows his stuff and he had me setup with my instrument in about hour. Good blessings from Ken.
