Two Scale options C to C or G to G (one full octave), giving our customers full customization. These are perhaps some of the best Shruti boxes available. Features copper-tipped reeds for a full and well rounded tone with subtle harmonics (often described by our customers as a sweet and warm sound). Specially made for Kala Kendar by a private maker in Kolkata.

There are a couple of small marks on the wood that we did not see in the picture - but they do not detract from the soun quality. We love it !!! Beautiful instrument. Nice sustain. I would highly recommend the S1 Professional. It's worth paying the additional fee to have the instrument tuned to A440 if you plan to play along with western instruments. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you, Kala Kendar!
