A good basic introductory book on the Sitar - from India
st about as good as a book costing twice the price - but without a CD. This book has lots of pictures and diagrams for the complete novice - including tuning instructions and wonderful explanations of Indian music system and it's history as a bonus. Good foundation scales to get started.
