Polyester strap works well as an alternative to the traditional leather strap with a max of 1% stretch. Current in-stock colours available are Black or White.

Easy to use
First time using a polyester strap, it's easier to pull and easier to tie than the skin one.

Better that nylon
Really easy to work with, thicker than nylon. Still needs to stretch a bit with some extra pulling.

Ok so don't wait, just get it. It's great! Ok heres a pro tip, cut the end of the strap as if it was lashing then burn the frays with indirect heat from a lighter to make it solid enough to pull through your drum head. Pushing through the holes is the hardest part but other than that you'll be fine. Also keep your bottom ring!

Much easier to work with than hide straps. Quality and logevity remains to be seen. High hopes though. Looking forward to getting my fingers moving again.

Tabla Strap/Lacing - Nylon
Nylon was easier to work with, although traditional lacing is the better way to go in professional applications. Kala Kendar service and delivery was excellent.
